The science of sleep + performance
Equinox Hotels presents the third annual Global Sleep Symposium on June 4, an evening dedicated to exploring The Science of Sleep + Performance with leading voices in sleep research and human optimization.
The program opens with a keynote conversation with Dr. Matthew Walker, one of the world’s foremost authorities on sleep science, discussing how sleep shapes performance not only in athletics but also in the workplace, influencing focus, decision-making, and creativity.
This is followed by an interdisciplinary panel with Dr. Eric Potterat, Dr. Kirk Parsley, and Dr. Emily Morse, who will each share their perspective on how sleep impacts mental resilience, physical recovery, hormonal health, and relationships.
Between sessions, guests can connect directly with speakers, a set of intimate salon-style conversations designed for questions, discussion, and practical insights.
The evening closes with a immersive sound experience led by Johnny Venus of grammy-nominated hip-hop duo EarthGang, using principles of music psychology to help ease the body and mind into a more restorative state.
